Smoother text editing and safer AI template starts
Text blocks are easier to edit and reorder, while AI assistants stop unavailable template requests before approval.
Editing text on the carousel canvas is more predictable. Selected text blocks keep a dedicated move grip, supported elements can be dropped reliably at the top of a slide or moved between visible slide areas, and cancelled drags no longer leave a stale preview behind.
Multiline text editing also stays inside the slide canvas, so moving the caret through longer copy no longer scrolls the slide itself.
SlideDrift MCP now checks template access before showing a generation quote. AI assistants can use your private templates and public templates that are ready for generation, while unavailable template requests stop before approval. Tool failures also return a safe reference that can be shared when troubleshooting.
