Free planning tools and stronger editor controls
New free carousel planning tools now connect into Create, with AI suggestions, clearer preferences, and better image editing.
SlideDrift now includes free planning tools for the step before generation.
You can use the LinkedIn Carousel Idea Generator, Carousel Outline Builder, LinkedIn Hook Generator, and Blog-to-Carousel Angle Finder to shape a stronger topic, hook, outline, or source angle before creating the final deck.
Basic planning works without an account. AI-assisted suggestions can refine the result further, with one anonymous AI generation, credit-based access for free accounts, and included monthly AI tool allowances on paid plans.
Tool results can be opened in SlideDrift as editable Create briefs, so you can review the prompt, choose a template, adjust preferences, and then generate the carousel.
Create now also exposes clearer generation preferences for slide count, output format, imagery level, quality, and Plan Mode. Selected options appear as removable chips so it is easier to see what will affect the next generation.
The editor received reliability improvements for slide navigation, save-state handling, and image selection. Editable template images can now expose focused controls for replacing images, removing them when supported, adjusting overlays, and toggling grayscale.
