Richer text editing and safer template starts

Text editing is more precise in the carousel editor. You can select part of a text element and apply formatting such as bold, italic, underline, color, highlight, font, size, or weight without changing the entire text box.

The editor also keeps those rich-text edits attached to the slide data, so selected-text formatting should survive normal editing, preview, and export flows.

Template starts are safer too. Public system templates are now filtered through generation readiness checks before they appear in template lists or get used for generation, reducing the chance of starting from a template that still needs review.
