Extension support

Fix the capture, then get back to the idea.

Most extension issues come from browser-owned pages or source sites that block automated reading. These checks cover the common paths.

01

The current page is unsupported

Chrome blocks extension access on internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, and some browser-owned tabs. Open a normal public webpage and try again.

02

The article URL cannot be read in SlideDrift

Some sites block automated reading. Keep the source URL in the brief, then paste the useful passage or your notes into the SlideDrift create field.

03

Create from a YouTube video

Choose Title + URL for a rough topic outline, or choose Transcript / notes and paste text you have permission to use. The extension intentionally does not fetch or scrape YouTube captions.

04

Clear recent sources

Open the extension and choose Clear beside Capture history. Uninstalling the extension also removes its local data.

Still stuck?

Include the page URL, the action you used, and the error message. Do not email private source content or account credentials.
