Understand what to avoid uploading, how source content is used, and how share links behave.
Only use SlideDrift with content you are allowed to process and share.
Do not upload sensitive information
Do not paste or upload:
- Passwords.
- API keys.
- Private customer data.
- Confidential company documents.
- Private messages or transcripts.
- Financial, legal, or medical records.
If you would not want the information used as source material, do not put it into SlideDrift.
Public source URLs
When you paste a URL, SlideDrift attempts to read the page so it can generate a carousel from the source material.
If the page is private, gated, or confidential, use a safe summary instead of the original content.
Uploaded images
Images uploaded through SlideDrift are stored as media assets. Avoid uploading images that contain private or sensitive information.
Share links
Share links are public to anyone who has the link. Do not create a share link for a carousel that contains private information.
